Just over a year ago, I saw a feature in the NY Times about a renovated cottage deep in the Catskill mountains and was struck so deeply by the beauty and character of the home. Its owners refurbished every inch of it, primarily by thrifting and other budget-conscious sources. I especially loved the clean, yet plush and warm interior – it’s the perfect balance of comfort and beauty.
