We started by installing classic white Shaker-style cabinetry throughout the entire space. The Shaker profile offers a clean, transitional look that is always in style, providing a beautiful backdrop for more dramatic design elements. To maintain this bright and airy feel, we paired the cabinets with gleaming white quartz countertops, offering a seamless, low-maintenance surface that reflects the abundant new lighting.
Functionality was significantly enhanced by maximizing the cabinet layout, creating deep storage drawers, and installing a convenient microwave cabinet above the counter. The ample storage ensures that every appliance and pantry item has a dedicated home, eliminating counter top clutter.

What truly sets this Stittsville kitchen apart is its captivating use of tile. Moving away from the typical horizontal pattern, we selected a striking, textured dark blue-grey subway tile and installed it vertically, running from the counter to the ceiling around the range and high-end stainless steel hood. . This feature wall creates an immediate visual anchor, drawing the eye and adding incredible depth and sophistication to the room. The subtle, handmade-style texture of the tile catches the light beautifully, especially when illuminated by the new under-cabinet LED strip lighting.
